Fruit Smoothies are ever so popular with children and they are simple and quick to make. Moreover, they are just simply yummy and nutritious. They are one sure way of getting your child to consume milk and fruits - two important food groups. They are a good source of energy and protein, for a memory boost, calcium for strong bones and teeth, and beta-carotene and vitamins A & C to strengthen the immune system. To increase its appeal to children, you can jazz it up with a mixture of sago, chendol and grass jelly, for some bite and colour.
