This is a traditional Indian recipe made from Semolina flour, which is high in protein. This dish is non-spicy, soft and easy to swallow, making it ideal for children 12 months and above.
Ingredients
• 1/2 tsp canola oil
• 3 - 4 mustard seeds
• 2 curry leaves
• 1/2 cup semolina flour/ rawa
• 1/2 cup water
Methods
1. Heat oil.
2. Add in the mustard seeds and curry leaves
3. After the mixture splutters, add in the semolina flour/ rawa.
4. Saute the contents till the semolina/ rawa darkens slightly.
5. Add in the water, and then add salt to taste.
6. Cover the pan and cook on low heat till mixture is semi-solid
Note: You may add diced cooked carrot.
