This is a one meal soup. For younger children, mash the fish, potato and carrots through a sieve. Be wary of bones whenever feeding fish to children.

• 1/2 (about 450g) whole fish (tail portion)
• 5 baby potatoes
• 5 baby carrots
• 1 large tomato 2 thin slices ginger
• 2 tbsp Canola oil
• 800ml water (serves 4)
