A Healthy Gut supports a healthy immune system

About 2/3 of your baby’s immune system is found in the gut (digestive system), this is often referred to as Gut Associated Lymphoid Tissue (GALT). The development of the GALT is the foundation of your baby’s overall defenses against germs. In the first critical days after birth, one of the most important steps you can take that will determine the health and long-term wellness of your baby will be to ensure the proper development and maintenance of the GALT.

A healthy gut is when your baby's intestines have the proper balance of good bacteria and beneficial yeast which plays an important role in conquering pathogenic viruses, bacteria and yeast. This is Mother Nature's way of really "vaccinating" your babies and building their immunity so they can live safely in this world.
