Miscarriage

Date written 01/08/2009 10:18:04

I had my first child at 30 and like any mordern mum, I wanted to stop at 1. For the simple reason that I knew nothing about raising a child and quality help was not always readily availbale. My husband was very supportive however his work schedule never was in favour for raisng a family. All this added day by day and finally I made the decision 1 was final.

At 34, it hit me that my daughter was growing up to be with no sibilings and that would not be fair for her as in our era we have many sibili

Hi all!
I'm 32 weeks pregnant and on Mon after I came back from work, my panty was totally wet. Little did i guess that it cd be leakage due to rupture of water bag. So, I resumed normal life, at the same time checked on myself. I went back to work next day and everythin was ok till i met my gynae for my 8 mths' appointment on Wed. In God`s Hands

Date written 15/12/2009 18:04:35

I am in my 22 wks of pregnancy with my 2nd child. Recently I went for my normal scanned and was told by the doc that an abnormalities of blood vessel was detected on my baby`s neck. Doc suggested I go for an amniocentesis test to determine the seriousness of my baby condition. But I refused. I was thinking no matter what I still wanna and have to keep my baby. Taking the test is also meant that I am taking the risk of having to go thru a miscarriage. My next appt with a specialist would be next year Jan. Till then I only can only make Du`a that my baby condition will get better. May God protect my unborn child and make her a healthy baby.
If there is anyone out there who have experience the same situation, it will be a great help that you can share your experience with me. Thank you.

Mother of three kids

Date written 26/11/2009 12:55:17

I gave birth to my 3rd kid 2 months ago after a long break of 5 years. To those mom who wanted more kids, my advise is try to have it before you hit 35 or 40 yrs old as you have better stamina and can skip some additional test. To those 1st time mom, be alert to the sign of labour especially the water rupture sign. Some mom mistaken it as lost of urine control. If you suddenly have a large amount of water discharge, remember to check the colour of the discharge and go to the hospital immediately. Baby can get stress up after water bag rupture and your gynae will know whether to deliver the baby immediately. My 1st & 3rd kid gave me the water bag rupture sign and they got stressed up after some time. Do remember every baby is different and they will tell you when they're ready to see you.
