At the age of 10 months, babies are learning things through what they see & hear. One day, when I was making milk for my 10 months old baby, there she was sitting on her high chair crying of hunger. In order to pacify her while I'm making milk, I told her what I am doing. But she's crying too hard to listen to me, hence I have to carry her. So I carry her & make her milk at the same time. When I was shaking her bottle to make the milk powder dissolved, I told her that "mummy is shaking the bottle to prepare milk for you". Since then whenever I ask her "what is mummy doing next?" She will shake her head & show me. It’s really amazing to see her different stages of growing up. So daddy and mummy, be careful of what you say or do next time. Kids are so smart nowadays so setting good examples are very important.

Bringing my son for breakfast on Saturday morning is a weekly event for me.

there was this sat morning where I brought him to Coffebean for breakfast. While we were having our breakfast, a man walked into the cafe and he is bald, he was seated in front of us.
My son shouted, Mummy, why this man no hair? i was so embarrassed.. I explained to him but this does not stop him from asking... he shouted again with this question..

i had to quickly feed him to finish his breakfast and leave that place...

We are walking by this open field near my flat when we spotted a flock of birds. My 2 year old says “mama bird” so I just laugh and say yes. Then he says “hop” and he started hopping and caused all the birds to fly away. He says “bird no more” so funny, wonders how he gets to learn all these words.

My son is 4years now. He is in N2 class. Everyday, he is looking forward to go to his school.

One day, I asked him why you look so tired. Did you sleep in school after lunch. He told me I cannot sleep cause my 2 girlfriends kept talking to each other and I told them to stop talking. They did not listen to me. That is the reason I did not sleep.

One night, he was sleeping with 2 dinosaurs toys beside his bed. I saw him fall asleep and I moved it cause it is not comfortable for him to move around. You know what happen the next day. He woke up and he asked me ," Mummy who move my 2 dinosaurs" ?. I told him I moved it. Then he said ," Mummy next time can you ask permission before you move it and must say sorry to me". I just smile and I told him how to tell you when you are sleeping.

Brown sugar water for baby's constipation

When my grandchild has constipation, I would let her drink some light brown sugar water (taught by my mum) and it works. she has no constipation or pooing problem. try this.... sometimes old grandma tricks really works.
