Do you think that commercially sold popcorn laden with lots of caramel, salt or butter are not too healthy a snack for ttoddlers? Here is an easy and quick way to make the popular popcorn a healthy and tasty snack for all kids!

1) buy raw popcorn (maize) from NTUC or Giant. Pop the popcorn yourself at home in a microwave oven for approximately 2-3 minutes.
2) add the freshly popped popcorn into a tub of yoghurt (with fruit bits) dip. Remember to look out for the Healthier Choice Symbol when purchasing the youghurt.
3) serve the popcorn in yoghurt dip immediately and you can see your child's reaction when he/she bites into the crunchy and yet moist and tasty popcorn in healthy youghurt mix :)

This is pure enjoyment to a child :)

My daughter is in the age of the terrible two. She would scream when she wants to watch her favourite programmes Barney, Dora and Winny The Pooh and Mickey Mouse. Nothing can stop her from her constant whinning for her wants which we often managed to talk her out of it. The only thing that we will succumb to her demands 3 times a day is her constant whinning for her favourite Mamil Gold Milk. That's my little princess and her milk as she whines for "I want milk, I want milk!"

As a new mummy, one of the most frequent reminders that I get from the elderly around me is to reduce the chances of baby catching a cold. Examples of the suggestions I receive is to ensure that the windows are closed and switching off the fan while giving baby a shower.

While I do believe in switching off the fan, I do not see the need of closing the windows unless it is raining cats and dogs outside and it is very windy.

A more effective way, in my personal opinion, is to ensure that the temperature of water is not kept too high. Otherwise, there will be a contrast in the water and the room temperature. In this way, chances of baby catching cold during shower will be kept to minimum.

It's been a very fast 2.5 years. Lil brian has grown up from a tweety weeny baby to a boy - boy of his own mind and thinking. everytime i look at him, i marvel at the miracle. I hope to spend every waking moment with my little one. However due to work committments, he would sleep over at my in-laws place. I treasure my weekends when he would wake up on his own and walk over to my bed and wake me up. His sweet gentle voice callling "daddy wake up" "daddy good morning" brought me to my feet immediately reminding me that it is weekend and family time.

We have been blessed with a baby boy and he is 2.3 yrs old now. He is so loving and understanding. We all are happy in our family. He goes to playgroup, talks a lot and it is nice to hear him speaking, drawing, painting. He can dance and sing. It is so happy I can't say how much to see him active and naughty. He even calls me to dance with him and we both enjoy being together. I love my son and gives a lot of care and preference to him.
We are a small and happy family:-)
