In light of the recent allegations regarding the safety of our milk products in China, Danone Dumex would like to inform you of the following:
Our company is fully dedicated to child nutrition and our primary concern is for the health and well-being of our consumers. The current situation in China has been incorrectly reported and our colleagues there have confirmed that to date there is no medical or other evidence linking the alleged illness of the infants to Dumex products. Additionally, on 13 February 2009, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision has also issued the latest test results of Dumex products, stating clearly that all Dumex products do not contain melamine, and fully comply with the national standard.
The Agri Food and Veterinary Authority has also confirmed that Dumex milk powder sold in Singapore is safe for consumption. Please click here to view complete news report.
In Singapore, Danone Dumex does not source milk powder from China. Our products are imported from Malaysia using milk powder sourced from Australia and New Zealand. All our products comply with the Agri Food and Veterinary Authority’s and other international quality standards. They are also extensively tested before being placed in the market.
The evaluations of samples of all our products by independent external laboratories have confirmed our products are safe for consumption.
