Food to bring when outing with baby

Growing children have growing needs, this section will guide you through your children’s cognitive, emotional and physical development. It is also full of useful nutrition advice for your child’s ever increasing energy and nutritional requirements and growth. This is a great stage in your child’s life as they become more interactive and engaging, but with their increased language and curiosity there may be some questions you can’t answer; remember we’re always here to support you.

Visiting friends with baby in tow can be a chore as there so many things to bring along, not to mention her food! Don't fret - here are some examples of food you can pack without too much fuss:

• some baby biscuits in an airtight container make good snacks.
• a serving of milk-based baby cereals (e.g. nutraKiDS Fine or Baby Cereal) in a container. Just add some hot water for a nutritious meal.
• a serving of hot home-cooked porridge in a thermal container.
• some hot water in a thermos flask and a portion of milk powder in an airtight container for preparing milk
• an extra bottle of boiled water
