Peanut butter: good or bad?
Peanut butter’s got a bad rep amongst many adults due to its high
fat content. That’s why many parents would rather not have their kids take peanut
butter. But did you know that despite its high fat content, peanut butter is actually
low in saturated fat? It’s also high in protein and fibre. So if you think about
it, peanut butter’s actually a whole lot more nutritious than other things kids
love such as candies, cookies and the like. And that’s got to be better at building
a healthy body and immune system than junk food!
Best of all, peanut butter has a taste most kids love. Its versatile nature means
you can try adding it to healthy foods to enhance the taste, and perhaps get your
young one to eat a little more healthily!
