Here are some suggestions to boost your child's calorie or protein intake during times when he is not eating well. These suggestions will also help to increase weight if your doctor diagnoses your child to be underweight.

Some other tips to remember

Using full cream dairy products (milk, cheese, yoghurt) rather than low fat or skim milk dairy will increase the calorie intake.

Use milk or 100% fruit juice instead of water when preparing desserts or cereals.
