Super C Smoothie
Gluten-free No-added-salt No-added-egg Vegetarian
- 110g strawberries (3 large or 5 medium), hulled and quartered
- 1 thin slice of watermelon or canteloupe, seeds and rind removed and flesh cubed (100g)
- 1/2 small banana
- 3 tbsp strawberry yoghurt
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp honey
*makes 2 child servings
Stove or oven method:
Put the fruit in a blender and whiz to a puree.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend to combine. Pour into glasses to serve.
Boost the immune system with Vitamins A and C from fruits and Zinc from yoghurt.
