Super C Smoothie

Gluten-free    No-added-salt    No-added-egg    Vegetarian
super c smoothie

Ingredients

  • 110g strawberries (3 large or 5 medium), hulled and quartered
  • 1 thin slice of watermelon or canteloupe, seeds and rind removed and flesh cubed (100g)
  • 1/2 small banana
  • 3 tbsp strawberry yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp honey

*makes 2 child servings

 

Stove or oven method:

Put the fruit in a blender and whiz to a puree.

Add the remaining ingredients and blend to combine. Pour into glasses to serve.

 

Tips:

Boost the immune system with Vitamins A and C from fruits and Zinc from yoghurt.​​​
