Pearl Barley & Banana Medley Recipe
No-added-salt Vegetarian No-added-egg
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup quick-cooking pearl barley
- 1 1/4 cup prepared follow-on formula
- 1/2 ripe banana, peeled and mashed
*Ingredients for 1 serving only
Stove or oven method:
Add the mashed banana, stir and cook for another 30 seconds.
Remove saucepan from heat and serve warm.
Place the barley and pour the follow-on milk into a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the barley is soft.
Taste to ensure that barley is not too crunchy.
