Breastfeeding is the best for babies and a healthy diet / maternal nutrition is important when breastfeeding. A decision not to breastfeed can be difficult to reverse. Infant formula is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. It is recommended that all formula milks be used on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, pharmacist, or other professional responsible for maternal and child care and the financial implications should be considered. Ingredients

  • 1/2 small banana
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1-2 tbsp fresh peach, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1-2 tbsp baby oatmeal (or regular oats ground in a food processor)

 

Stove or oven method:

Mash yogurt and banana together until well blended

Add peach cubes and stir well until cubes are coated.

Roll the cubes in the oatmeal flakes to make them easy for baby to pick up. Then serve.

 

Tips:

Be alert to the risk of choking and never leave your baby unattended with finger foods.
