Healthy Vegetable Trio: Pumpkin, Carrot and Spinach Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups peeled, diced pumpkin (seeds removed)
- 1 cup peeled, diced carrot
- 1 cup finely chopped fresh spinach leaves
- Optional: 1 to 2 scoops of follow-on formula powder*
*Note: This recipe has been tested using follow-on formula
Stove or oven method:
Add diced pumpkin and carrot to boiling water, cover, and cook until just tender.
Add extra water if needed during cooking.
Add chopped spinach and cook for about 5 more minutes.
Mash with a potato masher, to give a slightly lumpy texture.
Cool to suit baby before serving.
Optional: Just before serving, use a fork to whisk in a little follow-on formula powder. Or thin with a little prepared formula or standard milk.
