Breastfeeding is the best for babies and a healthy diet / maternal nutrition is important when breastfeeding. A decision not to breastfeed can be difficult to reverse. Infant formula is suitable from birth when babies are not breastfed. It is recommended that all formula milks be used on the advice of a doctor, midwife, health visitor, public health nurse, dietitian, pharmacist, or other professional responsible for maternal and child care and the financial implications should be considered. All preparation and feeding instructions should be followed carefully as inappropriate preparation could lead to health hazards.

Vanilla Raspberry Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla
  • 3 tbsp apple juice concentrate

* makes 2 ½ cups

Stove or oven method:

In a blender, combine all ingredients. Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Pour into a freezer-safe container.

Freeze for 2 hours, then fluff with a fork.

Return to freezer. Continue fluffing and freezing every 1½–2 hours until serving.

Tips:

For a seedless sorbet, press mixture through a fine-mesh sieve before freezing.

This refreshing sorbet is easy to make and high in antioxidants from the raspberries.​​
