I drank coconut water once a week in my 3rd trimester, my daughter's skin is very fair and smooth. It's no harm trying it since it also has other nutrients.
From what I heard, it's not from the on start of the 3rd trimester. It's only when you are around 35weeks then u can start to drink. It's not so that the baby will have smooth skin(all babies have smooth skin no matter what), it's that your baby will come out cleaner when you deliver. Anyway, I drank for my 1st pregnancy & I also don't know if my baby is cleaner but I sure enjoy the refreshing & cold coconut water during my 3rd tri esp when i'm feeling so hot!!

Hi, I drank during the last 2 weeks of my trimester. Make sure u drink young coconut, Don get Those old coconut. Many say that ur Baby will be cleaner when she/he is out. :)
I drank coconut water during my last tri but didn't see any difference in my baby skin. perhaps I'm not drinking enough? I drank once every week.
Drinking coconut juice during the last few weeks of the third trimester is beneficial to the mother and foetus. Whether or not the baby comes out clean, I'm not sure if it's been proven. If in doubt, it's advisable to seek gynae's advice. But I can't help but think of having it now when the weather is terribly hot and humid!
I drank for 1 mth. 1st 2 weeks I drink once a week. Last 2 weeks I drink twice a week. And yes, my baby came out very clean when deliver. Her skin also very smooth. Most important is she don't has jaundice at all.
Really? I never tried it during my two pregnancies. Anyways, I believe all babies' skin is smooth :-)
